Job Title: Barista, Detroit Airport

Company: Delaware North

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $17.4 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17.40 for a Barista position at Detroit Airport is generally competitive within the industry, especially considering the location. As of 2023, average wages for baristas in the U.S. typically range from $12 to $20 per hour, with airport locations often offering higher rates due to the unique demands and higher cost of living in metropolitan areas. Additionally, factors such as tips, benefits, and local labor market conditions can also impact overall compensation. Therefore, while $17.40 is on the lower end of the scale for airport baristas, it does align closely with the regional standards, especially considering potential tips and an active labor market in Detroit.
