Job Title: Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide

Company: SouthernCare

Location: Ontario, OH

Pay: $14.2 – 16.75 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14.20 to $16.75 for a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide position in Ontario, OH, appears to be slightly below the national average for similar roles, which typically ranges from $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience and specific job responsibilities. While the pay may meet entry-level positions, it could be considered less competitive, especially given the demanding nature of hospice care that requires compassion and specialized skills. Additionally, in 2023, many regions have seen increases in pay rates due to rising living costs and labor shortages in the healthcare sector, suggesting that this pay range might not align with current industry standards and expectations in the area.
