Working Hours and Compensation:

Pay Rate: $14.00-$16.00 per hour
Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional Fridays

Responsibilities:

To excel in this role, you will need to:

  • Demonstrate dependability and precision in managing financial information, conducting insurance verifications, and preparing end-of-day reports to ensure that our patients can focus on their care without worry.
  • Carry out clerical tasks, including sorting, opening, and distributing mail, scanning, and photocopying. Answer phone calls, provide information to callers, greet visitors and patients, and schedule, verify, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Explain procedures and services to patients utilizing your dental knowledge.
  • Present financial policies and arrangements to patients, collect co-payments, and verify insurance coverage as appropriate.
  • Monitor appointments by tracking no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (an Associate’s degree is preferred).
  • 1-5 years of experience in customer service, insurance, or dental settings is preferred.
  • Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office programs, along with a willingness to learn new programs as required.
