Job Title: Direct Service Professional – afternoon childcare

Company: Help at Home

Location: Livonia, MI

Pay: $15 – 16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $16 for a “Direct Service Professional – afternoon childcare” role in Livonia, MI, is generally considered to be on the lower end of the pay scale for similar positions in the region. According to industry standards, particularly for roles in childcare and direct support services, rates often range from $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The cost of living in Michigan, combined with the increasing demand for childcare services, suggests that employers may need to offer more competitive wages to attract and retain qualified professionals in this field. Overall, while the rate may be acceptable for entry-level candidates, it may not attract more experienced individuals seeking employment in the sector.
