We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time hourly positions, including Line Cooks, Wok Cooks, Cooks, Chef De Parties, and Station Chefs.
Job Summary:
The Line Cook, Wok Cook, Cook, Chef De Partie, or Station Chef is responsible for satisfying guest needs by preparing food in accordance with established recipes and procedures, while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items to meet company specifications
- Plate prepared foods as directed by the chef
- Oversee the setup, operation, breakdown, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- Assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and utensils
- Uphold the restaurant’s high standards for kitchen sanitation and food safety
Job Requirements:
- No previous experience is necessary; training will be provided
- Possession of a current Food Handler’s Card is preferred; assistance will be provided to obtain one
- A passion for food and attention to detail, including knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes
- Ability to learn the restaurant menu and recipes
- Awareness of all chemicals used in the kitchen
- Strong customer service skills and professional etiquette
- Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced teamwork environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Comfortable standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, and performing repetitive bending, reaching, and twisting
- Must be at least 18 years old
