Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver
Company: Visiting Angels
Location: Jackson, MI
Pay: $17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of my last update in October 2023, an hourly rate of $17 for a caregiver position in Jackson, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the compensation spectrum. While pay can vary based on factors such as experience, certifications, and specific employer practices, caregiver roles in Michigan typically offer hourly wages ranging from $15 to $25, with entry-level positions often starting around $15 and more experienced caregivers or those with specialized training earning upwards of $20 to $25 per hour. Considering the cost of living in Jackson and the competitive landscape for caregiving jobs, an hourly wage of $17 may attract candidates but may not be sufficient to retain talent in the long term, particularly as demand for caregivers continues to rise.
