Ecolab, recognized by Selling Power magazine as a top company to sell for, is seeking motivated B2B sales professionals to join our commercial Pest Elimination Solutions Sales team in the United States. As a Sales Development Manager, you will establish and cultivate profitable relationships with commercial businesses, helping to safeguard their brand, facilities, and the health and safety of their employees and customers. You will drive sales and meet budget goals by employing prospecting, cold calling, and networking strategies to target diverse sectors, including restaurants, hospitals, hotels, retailers, food and beverage plants, schools, and nursing homes, offering the most effective B2B pest elimination solutions available in the United States. The new accounts you secure will be supported by our dedicated service team responsible for implementing the solutions you provide.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect and acquire new customers to achieve annual business sales objectives.
- Identify sales opportunities and execute effective sales strategies.
- Collaborate with our service team, corporate account team, and internal partners to implement industry best practices in addressing customer pest challenges.
- Build rapport and develop relationships with customers and colleagues through professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by guiding and educating clients throughout the sales process.
- Stay informed about Ecolab’s product and service offerings, along with industry conditions, to optimize customer outcomes.

Position Details:
- This position is based in Lansing, MI, with a territory covering approximately a 200-mile radius of the surrounding area.
- Overnight travel is required at a rate of 10%.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (1.5 years of business-to-business sales or Ecolab experience equates to 1 year of post-secondary education).
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- A home office equipped with internet access.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in business-to-business commercial sales or comparable Ecolab experience.
- Experience in pest elimination and/or sales within the hotel and restaurant sectors is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven relationship management and consulting abilities.
- Problem-solving skills to identify customer solutions.
- Effective negotiation and presentation capabilities.
- High levels of self-motivation and a results-driven mindset.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Compensation:
The total compensation range for this role is $82,000-$123,000, which encompasses base pay and target incentives based on performance, according to plan terms.
