Job Description
Job Title: 1st Shift Machine Operator
Company: Filtration Group
Location: West Union, OH
Pay: $14.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $14.50 for a “1st Shift Machine Operator” in West Union, OH appears to be below the national average for similar positions. Typically, machine operators in the United States earn between $15 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, specific industry, and location. In rural areas like West Union, wages may be slightly lower, but $14.50 may still be considered uncompetitive, particularly as many employers seek to attract workers with higher pay rates amid ongoing labor shortages. Additionally, factors such as benefits, cost of living, and training opportunities should also be considered when evaluating the overall competitiveness of this wage.
