We are seeking to fill a part-time Catering Attendant position with immediate availability.
Location: CAS – Elements Café, 2540 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH 43202. Please note that we only accept online applications.
Schedule: The position requires availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Additional details regarding the schedule will be provided during the interview process.
Qualifications: While prior experience in high-volume catering is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Job Summary: The Catering Attendant is responsible for delivering and serving food at scheduled events under the supervision of the catering captain. This role involves ensuring accurate execution of all events during assigned shifts, which may include driving a catering delivery truck, setting up and serving functions, cleaning event areas, breaking down setups, and returning leftover food and equipment promptly to the catering facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble and deliver all food and supplies to designated locations for catered events.
- Log and monitor food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations as per event standards.
- Set up buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items in accordance with guidelines.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Thoroughly clean the venue post-event.
- Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distribute and collect customer feedback cards during catered functions.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
- Ensure guests receive exemplary service at all times.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and available products.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A valid driver’s license may be required. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit as required by state law.
