Job description:

We are actively seeking candidates for a full-time Prep Cook position. This role is located at Reynolds & Reynolds, situated at 2405 County Line Road, Beavercreek, OH 45430. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

Job Summary:
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing food and serving customers in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain daily production schedules and preparation requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepare food items as specified on production sheets, adhering to established quantities and recipes.
  • Complete and manage daily production worksheets and waste logs, ensuring the quality of meals through taste-testing.
  • Operate and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment following departmental procedures after each use.
  • Store, label, and date all food items in accordance with policy, adhering to HACCP guidelines.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and reports as required.
  • Comply with relevant health and sanitation regulations and departmental sanitation procedures.
  • Take customer orders and prepare items that require short preparation time.
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grills, serving customers at various stations.
  • Utilize approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
