The Lytle Park Hotel, an exquisite Autograph Collection property in the heart of Cincinnati, is in search of a visionary Director of Food & Beverage to elevate our dining experiences. The objectives of the Director of Food & Beverage are to achieve marketing, sales, profitability, and quality service goals for the Food & Beverage Department through the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives. The role involves budget preparation and execution, delivering outstanding service to guests, and leveraging effective leadership and management skills.

Duties include:
– Motivating and managing a team of front and back of house food and beverage management.
– Developing and recommending the budget, marketing plans, and objectives while operating within the approved frameworks.
– Collaborating as a key member of the Hotel Executive Committee in total hotel management.
– Implementing and maintaining food and beverage sales and marketing programs.
– Directing and overseeing employee development initiatives.
– Conducting hiring, training, empowerment, coaching, and performance and salary reviews.
– Supervising the implementation of payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory, and budgets for food and beverage operations.
– Coordinating food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service.
– Addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively to maintain high levels of satisfaction and quality.
– Establishing procedures to enhance guest and associate satisfaction.
– Exercising quality control for both food and beverage offerings.
– Upholding service standards and ensuring their execution.
– Conducting daily walk-throughs to guarantee compliance with health regulations and brand standards.
– Maintaining effective communication with corporate staff.
– Coaching and guiding employees to embody brand service standards and procedures.

Qualifications:
– A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in hotel Food and Beverage operations.
– A service-oriented style with professional presentation skills.
– At least 3 years of experience in a senior role within a food and beverage setting.
– Demonstrated leadership abilities.
– A degree in Hotel/Hospitality management is advantageous.
– Essential strengths include high energy, an entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, a proven record in high-volume concepts, effective communication skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to enhance profitability.
– Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
