Responsibilities:

• Assist elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents with personal hygiene needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist with ambulation as necessary.
• Aid clients with mobility both within the home and during outings (e.g., doctor’s appointments, walks).
• Support personal care and hygiene, meal planning and preparation, and implement physical therapy exercises.
• Complete shopping tasks for clients or accompany them in their shopping.
• Perform housekeeping duties while promptly reporting any unusual incidents.
• Respond swiftly and responsibly in emergency situations.
• Facilitate essential daily living activities by assisting clients with meals, including serving and related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and demonstrate eagerness to improve and learn continuously.
• Capable of performing all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation are required.
• Proven ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment is preferred (minimum of 1 year).
