Job description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing cloud environments and provisioning computer networking, storage, and virtual networks, ultimately enabling us to "harness the cloud." We are seeking a skilled DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and tackle their most pressing challenges.

In this role at Booz Allen, you will collaborate closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configurations for contemporary cloud solutions. You will enhance your expertise within a DevOps framework by establishing or provisioning virtual machines and networks while leveraging cloud service providers to advance our clients’ significant missions.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Configuration as Code
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Kubernetes
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with AWS
  • At least 2 years of experience in Linux system administration
  • Active Secret clearance
  • High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, JSM, Discourse, Overleaf, GitLab, GitLab Runners, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Ansys products, Teamwork Cloud, MATLAB, Fortify, McAfee ePO, Splunk, or Nessus
  • Experience with GitOps and Agile methodologies
  • Proven experience in creating CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI or Jenkins
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with F5 BIG IP
  • Understanding of Cloud environments within Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Experience with Windows Server
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Candidates selected for this position will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is required.
