Butterworth Hospital, located at 100 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids, is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Sunday, between 5:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., which will include variable weekends. The starting pay for this position is $16 per hour.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of a diverse array of intricate beverage recipes, utilizing a complex combination of ingredients while adhering to standardized recipes. This role demands an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and to operate specialized kitchen equipment. The individual will be tasked with identifying any ingredients or finished products that fall short of established quality standards and maintaining safety and sanitation standards throughout the workspace. A commitment to creating an exceptional customer experience is essential.
Essential Functions
- Produce a wide range of intricate beverage recipes, following standardized recipes precisely.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn, retain, and apply knowledge of beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes.
- Excel in a dynamic, high-volume work environment, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
- Participate in various operational duties, including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation.
- Operate and maintain specialized kitchen equipment, addressing any equipment issues or escalating to leadership as necessary.
- Identify and rectify any ingredients or finished products that do not comply with quality standards.
- Ensure preparation for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections.
- Deliver personalized customer experiences by demonstrating thorough knowledge of products and accurately fulfilling detailed customer requests.
- Effectively manage service recovery when products do not meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
