Job description:

Working under the supervision of the Supervisor and/or Team Leader, the Janitor will be responsible for performing general housekeeping and janitorial tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Sweeping and mopping designated areas.
  • Collecting and disposing of trash and cardboard as required.
  • Cleaning restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, and mopping floors.
  • Operating a floor scrubber and sweeper as needed.
  • Compacting cardboard for disposal.
  • Restocking supplies in restrooms.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Must successfully obtain a Lift Truck License and operate the lift truck as required.
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • May be required to move and set up tables and chairs.
  • Must understand and comply with the Bloodborne Pathogen process.
  • Ability to follow both written and oral instructions from the supervisor or team leader.
  • Capability to read and adhere to instructions provided by equipment manuals.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation:

$15 per hour, paid weekly.
