Job description:

As a Night Store Team Member, your primary responsibility will be to exceed customer needs and expectations by delivering efficient, accurate, and friendly check-out service along with shopping assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work to ensure the well-being of customers, team members, and products.
  • Accurately process customer transactions by scanning products or inputting prices into the register, in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Finalize sales and collect payments by totaling customer orders and accepting various forms of payment.
  • Organize and maintain shelf displays as needed.
  • Assist with light stocking responsibilities and promptly notify management of any out-of-stock items.
  • Relocate misplaced items to their appropriate locations.
  • Vigilantly monitor customer activity at the fuel pumps to prevent drive-offs, ensure safe usage of gasoline containers, and manage multiple transactions when necessary.
  • Uphold cleanliness in all areas, including equipment, counters, floors, restrooms, and the exterior pump area, to adhere to safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Comply with all state and local laws governing cigarette sales.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain store security.
  • Understand and follow all procedures related to coupon handling.
  • Be knowledgeable about selling lottery tickets and gift cards.
  • Provide assistance in the kitchen area when required.
