Job description:

As a Night Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in surpassing customer needs and expectations by delivering efficient, accurate, and pleasant check-out services, along with shopping assistance.

Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety in all aspects of work, ensuring the well-being of Team Members, customers, and products.
• Efficiently process customer transactions by accurately scanning products or entering prices into the register in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
• Finalize sales transactions by totaling purchases and collecting payments from customers.
• Organize merchandise by blocking and straightening shelves as necessary.
• Assist with light stocking duties and promptly inform management of any out-of-stock items.
• Relocate misplaced items to their proper locations to maintain store organization.
• Vigilantly monitor customers at pumps to help prevent drive-offs, ensure the safe use of gasoline containers, and prevent multiple vehicles from being serviced in a single transaction.
• Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, including equipment, counters, floors, restrooms, and the exterior pump area, to meet safety and sanitation regulations.
• Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale of cigarettes.
• Collaborate with fellow store Team Members to maintain security within the store.
• Comprehend and follow all procedures related to coupon handling.
• Acquire knowledge on the sale of lottery tickets and gift cards.
• Support operations in the kitchen area as required.
