Job Title: CHEF (FULL TIME)

Company: Compass Group

Location: Novi, MI

Pay: $17 – 20 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 to $20 for a “Chef (Full Time)” position in Novi, MI, falls below the national average for chefs, which typically ranges from $20 to $25 per hour for similar roles, depending on experience and the type of establishment. In Michigan, the cost of living and wage expectations for culinary professionals can vary, with urban areas like Novi generally positioning chefs at the higher end of the scale due to increased demand and competition. Therefore, while the offered rate may appeal to entry-level candidates or those with limited experience, it may not be competitive for skilled chefs or those seeking to work in a more culinary-focused environment, suggesting that the compensation may need to be adjusted to attract and retain talent effectively.
