We are currently seeking a dedicated Neuro Rehab Coach Supervisor for our new OhioHealth – Neuro Transitional Center located in Dublin, OH. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals with acquired brain injuries or spinal cord injuries who require intensive rehabilitation services before they can safely return home.

The Neuro Transitional Center, with its 12-bed facility, is committed to facilitating the recovery of our patients. Key Responsibilities:
As the Neuro Rehab Coach Supervisor, you will oversee the Neuro Rehabilitation Coaches (NRCs) while ensuring high-quality patient care as part of a collaborative neuro transitional rehabilitation team. Your role encompasses:

  • Supervising staff during assigned shifts, providing guidance, and relaying any staff concerns to Neuro Transitional Center leadership or the on-call RN/Administrator.
  • Collaborating with the transitional team to implement patient care plans and facilitating rehabilitation activities that foster education and engagement.
  • Coordinating with leadership to maintain appropriate staffing levels in accordance with patient needs and operational guidelines, and addressing any staffing challenges with the NTC supervisor or Administrator on Call.
  • Assisting with meal planning and preparation, overseeing grocery shopping, and managing facility inventory and housekeeping duties as assigned.
  • Organizing patient transportation while ensuring compliance with vehicle maintenance and operational policies.
  • Participating in scheduled training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Documenting patient care and supervising NRCs to ensure adherence to Neuro Transitional Rehab policy and required documentation standards.
  • Overseeing delegated nursing tasks, including vital sign monitoring, gastric tube management, diabetic care, oxygen administration, medication preparation, and catheter management.
  • Administering medications to a maximum of 12 patients.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Current State Driver’s License in good standing
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; new hires should refer to the CPR Requirement Guidelines for New Hires

Preferred Experience:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a residential care facility or rehabilitation setting, with a focus on brain injury populations preferred.
  • Experience as a medication aide.
  • Strong delegation and problem-solving skills.
