Job description:

The Infrastructure Architect will assume a vital role in designing, implementing, and optimizing the infrastructure necessary for the successful deployment of the SAP implementation within the Work and Asset Management program. Key responsibilities include ensuring seamless integration of the SAP system with the existing IT infrastructure, which encompasses networking, storage, and cloud environments. This position demands collaboration with IT and project teams to guarantee that the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and aligns with the organization’s technical and business objectives. The Infrastructure Architect will be instrumental in facilitating a smooth SAP system deployment while adhering to performance, security, and reliability standards.

Role, Responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Infrastructure Design & Planning: Craft detailed infrastructure architectures for SAP implementation, ensuring that all system components—including networking, storage, security, and cloud—are effectively integrated and fulfill performance and scalability criteria.
• System Integration: Collaborate with project teams to integrate SAP with existing systems, enabling seamless interactions with other mission-critical applications and infrastructure.
• Cloud and On-Premise Configuration: Design and implement infrastructure solutions for both cloud-based and on-premise environments, ensuring optimal configuration and performance for SAP operations.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure infrastructure is optimized for performance and availability to support SAP workloads; monitor infrastructure performance and submit recommendations for enhancements.
• Security & Compliance: Partner with the security team to ensure infrastructure security and compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA); implement security best practices and actively monitor for vulnerabilities.
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design and establish disaster recovery plans for the SAP infrastructure, ensuring continuity of operations during system failures or disruptions.
• Collaboration with IT Teams: Cooperate with networking, storage, and security teams to ensure infrastructure setups align with SAP system requirements and the overall IT architecture.

Required Experience:
