Job Description
Job Title: Restaurant AM Host – $13.00 per Hour – Hocking Hills Lodge & Conference Center
Company: Hocking Hills State Park Lodge
Location: Logan, OH
Pay: $13 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $13 for the position of “Restaurant AM Host” at Hocking Hills Lodge & Conference Center in Logan, OH, is relatively competitive but generally falls below the industry standard, particularly in light of recent increases in minimum wage across several states and rising living costs. As of 2023, typical hourly wages for restaurant hosts in Ohio range from approximately $12 to $15, depending on the location and establishment type, with some higher-end venues or those in urban areas offering even more. Given Logan’s more rural setting, this wage may align closely with local economic conditions, yet it may be less attractive compared to positions in larger cities or more premium establishments. Ultimately, while $13 may be acceptable for entry-level or less experienced hosts in the area, it may not fully reflect the value of the role or entice candidates with more experience or qualifications.
