Responsibilities:

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee all HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company values and legal requirements.
  • Stay informed about employment laws and multistate regulations to ensure compliance across all locations.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing issues in a professional and proactive manner.
  • Oversee safety management, including OSHA compliance and reporting, in collaboration with production and operations teams.
  • Investigate and document employee complaints thoroughly.

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Cultivate a robust workplace culture and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Plan and oversee company-wide events, including leadership training sessions and quarterly team gatherings.
  • Develop and manage retention strategies to ensure employees feel valued and supported.
  • Handle internal communications regarding HR initiatives and programs.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Lead talent acquisition, promotions, and adjustments in compensation.
  • Oversee learning and development efforts, including the creation of training platforms and programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and performance records, monitoring reviews, departmental changes, and career advancement.
  • Update and manage the organization’s chart as necessary.

Payroll, Benefits & Time Management

  • Manage time tracking and attendance through Paycom.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits, upholding Earthley Wellness’ customized benefits structure.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in people management.
  • Demonstrated progressive career growth in previous roles.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills with a proven track record in employee relations.

Preferred:

  • Experience in developing direct reports and peers into leadership positions.
  • Previous ownership of comprehensive HR functions.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong understanding of state employment laws.
  • Experience in creating, streamlining, and maintaining organizational processes and procedures.

Desired:

  • Hands-on experience with Paycom LMS.
  • Event management skills, including planning company activities and leadership training.
