Position Overview:
This role is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers by executing the following essential duties and responsibilities, with additional tasks as assigned:

  • Perform comprehensive cleaning duties for facilities utilizing ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
  • Duties encompass sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom sanitation, vacuuming, and furniture or equipment relocation
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Employ proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
  • Open and secure facilities, as well as activate and deactivate security systems as required
  • 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous but not mandatory
  • On-the-job training will be provided for individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
  • Prior experience with a professional janitorial service, office complex, hotel, hospital, or educational institution is preferred
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential
  • Contribute to a positive work atmosphere through professionalism, punctuality, and teamwork
  • Demonstrate respect and understanding for co-workers and customers

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

  • Frequent (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, and forward; must be capable of lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to read cleaning instructions and labels
  • Capability to differentiate between cleaning products and their appropriate uses
