Job description:
Responsibilities

– Provide personal hygiene assistance to elderly patients or individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their fundamental needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
– Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist them with ambulation.
– Support mobility within the home and during outings, such as attending doctor’s appointments or going for walks.
– Assist with personal care and hygiene, meal planning and preparation, as well as physical therapy exercises.
– Complete shopping tasks for clients or accompany them during shopping trips.
– Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents promptly.
– Respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations.
– Facilitate essential daily living activities by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

– Demonstrated enjoyment of working in a one-on-one setting, with a strong desire to improve and continuously learn new skills.
– Ability to execute all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required on a daily basis.
– Proven capability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
– Availability to work varied shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
– Minimum one year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
