Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
  • Assist clients in transferring and ambulating safely.
  • Support clients with mobility both inside and outside the home, including transportation to appointments or recreational activities.
  • Aid in personal care, meal planning and preparation, and assist with physical therapy exercises.
  • Complete shopping tasks for clients or accompany them during their shopping.
  • Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual occurrences.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately in emergency situations.
  • Encourage and facilitate activities essential for daily living, including meal assistance when needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare or in-home care setting is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates without prior experience.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Willing to work in a one-on-one care setting and exhibit a desire to learn and improve continuously.
  • Physical capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform job-related duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to act with compassion and provide supportive care.
  • Availability to work various shifts based on client needs.
  • Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide is beneficial, as is completion of a CNA or other healthcare program.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Experience with Hoyer lifts is a plus.
