WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proficiency in operating a forklift to transport trailers to and from service areas and rearranging them on the lot as necessary
  • Timely parking and movement of RV units
  • Installation and removal of window prices on recreational vehicles as required
  • Writing work orders, tracking issues, and ensuring units are in proper working condition
  • Maintaining cleanliness and professionalism on the lot by sweeping, picking up trash, and emptying garbage cans
  • Securing units and equipment from inclement weather
  • Ensuring slide-outs are retracted, jacks are deployed, steps are extended, select awnings are opened, and doors are unlocked
  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment for both customers and coworkers
  • Conducting fuel and propane checks and refilling as needed
  • Staging units appropriately
  • Checking in new units upon their arrival from the factory
  • Running errands for parts or supplies
  • Completing any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Some experience in a technician role
  • Preferred experience with towing
  • Prior experience operating yard tractors and/or forklifts
  • Willingness and ability to drive an RV
  • Familiarity with using generators and operating slide-outs
  • Skills in repairing minor items and identifying problematic units
  • Capability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
  • Demonstrated potential for growth and eagerness to learn RV repair techniques
