Position:
We are seeking a motivated Member Services Representative to join our team on a part-time weekend schedule from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, fostering a welcoming and “Judgement Free” environment. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service/Front Desk Activities:
– Greet members and guests to ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
– Answer phone calls in a friendly and professional manner, assisting callers with a variety of inquiries.
– Check members in, provide tours, assist in signing up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
– Address member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
– Facilitate beverage and merchandise transactions using the point of sale system.
– Utilize the POS system for managing new membership cards, address changes, and billing or payment inquiries.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
– Uphold high standards of cleanliness, ensuring the front desk area and lobby are well maintained.
– Conduct regular facility cleaning and upkeep, including mopping spills, trash removal, window and mirror cleaning, and re-racking weights.
– Ensure all exercise equipment and tanning beds are cleaned on a regular basis.
– Maintain the cleanliness and stocking of restrooms and wet areas.

Qualifications and Requirements:
– Candidates for this position must agree to complete a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of employment; ongoing employment is contingent upon a satisfactory outcome.
– Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers, consistently exceeding member expectations.
– Previous customer service experience is preferred.
– Must be at least 18 years of age.
– A high school diploma or GED is required.
– An upbeat, positive, and professional demeanor is essential.
– Punctuality and reliability are imperative.
– CPR/AED Certification must be obtained and maintained within the timeframes required by the company; candidates must be physically able to perform CPR/AED in emergencies.

Physical Demands/Requirements:
