Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Company: Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc.

Location: Ludington, MI

Pay: $15 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Ludington, MI, is generally on the lower end of the spectrum when compared to industry standards. According to various salary data sources, DSPs in Michigan typically earn between $14 and $20 per hour, with some variation based on experience, qualifications, and specific job duties. While $15 may be competitive within the region, it may not adequately reflect the responsibilities and demands of the role, especially in light of the ongoing labor shortages in the healthcare and social services sectors. Overall, while competitive, the rate could benefit from a revision to better align with the value provided by DSPs and to attract and retain qualified candidates.
