Job description:

Nesco Resource is currently seeking entry-level CNC Machine Operators for a Parts Machining Company located in the Livonia/Plymouth area of Michigan.

Shift: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays.
Pay: $18 to $20 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of machinery, both internally and externally, while practicing good housekeeping within assigned work areas.
  • Ensure that all materials and parts meet or exceed specified quality standards.
  • Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) charting and labeling of materials.
  • Properly maintain and care for all tools and inspection equipment.
  • Demonstrate basic use and upkeep of handheld and attribute gauges.
  • Adhere to general safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Complete special assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Entry-level position with no prior experience necessary.
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to learn.
  • Basic math and computer skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
