Job Description
Job Title: Med Tech/Caregiver all shifts
Company: Homestead
Location: Cadillac, MI
Pay: $14 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14 for a “Med Tech/Caregiver” role in Cadillac, MI, appears to be on the lower end of the compensation scale for this position. According to various industry standards and salary surveys, caregiver salaries typically range from $12 to $18 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and specific job responsibilities. In Michigan, the average wage for caregivers and medical technicians can be closer to $15-$20 per hour, particularly given the increasing demand for caregivers in the healthcare sector. Therefore, while $14 may be acceptable for entry-level positions, it may not be competitive enough to attract experienced candidates or maintain staff retention, especially in a market that often requires specialized skills and is experiencing workforce shortages.
