Job description:
We are seeking a dynamic and professional bartender with exceptional communication skills to deliver both classic cocktails and innovative new beverages to our esteemed customers. The ideal candidate will warmly greet patrons, engage with them to understand their preferences, address inquiries, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food with skill and precision. This role also requires the ability to upsell items, create unique recipes, effectively utilize the correct equipment and ingredients, and maintain cleanliness within the workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
- Mix, garnish, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while adhering to company standards in a high-energy setting.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace throughout the duration of the shift.
- Provide exemplary five-star service to every guest.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of all prepared items, as well as beer, wine, and spirits.
- Utilize the POS system to manage guest tabs effectively from start to finish.
- Handle and balance a cash drawer before, during, and after each shift.
- Assist in the preparation of garnishes and specialty items unique to our establishment.
- Collaborate with team members and provide assistance in a respectful manner.
- Verify proper photo identification to confirm guests meet the legal drinking age prior to serving.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of beer, wine, champagne, and spirits, as well as classic cocktail techniques.
- Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the Manager on Duty.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness in all dining areas, including table wiping and general upkeep.
- Able to transport plates, glasses, and trays to and from various areas a minimum of 30 times per shift.
- Proficient in reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication.
- Requires mobility and a full range of movement throughout shifts.
- Must be able to lift and transport objects weighing up to 30 pounds a minimum of 15 times per shift.
- Ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations to ensure safety.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of standing and moving quickly for extended periods of up to six hours.
- Must possess good balance and the ability to bend, kneel, and react promptly to surrounding activities.
- Ability to lift bus pans, trays, and cases of food and beverages weighing as much as 30 pounds.
