Marketing Strategy and Planning Manager, Commercial

SUMMARY:
Aeroseal is seeking a Marketing Strategy and Planning Manager for our Commercial business unit to further our mission by collaborating closely with the EVP/GM and senior leadership. This role will focus on understanding market dynamics, developing plans that drive measurable business growth, and coordinating the execution of those plans alongside our content, communications, growth, sales enablement, events, and digital marketing teams. Effective collaboration will be essential.

To excel in this position, candidates should possess extensive experience across diverse marketing, communications, advertising, event, and public relations strategies, ideally within a fast-paced environment such as construction, building technology, HVAC, or energy efficiency. Engaging effectively with senior sales leaders and product managers is crucial, requiring a history of successfully interacting with top management to gain insights and present compelling proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in construction, building technology, HVAC, energy efficiency, or a closely related sector.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies in collaboration with senior sales and business leadership, demonstrating tangible contributions to business outcomes.
  • Strong marketing acumen and the ability to establish trust among senior colleagues.

  • Technical proficiency in building systems and performance.

Preferred Location:
Strong preference for candidates located in South Dayton; however, remote options will be considered for the ideal candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a scalable marketing strategy across a major line of business, tailored to specific geographic or vertical segments as needed.
  • Transform the marketing function for this business unit from a reactive service model to a strategic entity aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize marketing initiatives to enhance our outreach, engagement, and response from builders, raters, and home buyers.

Operational Execution:

  • Coordinate the execution of the strategic plan with our marketing teams upon its development.
  • Assume full accountability for the outcomes of the marketing initiatives, optimizing for maximum performance and impact.
  • Serve as the voice of Aeroseal for builders, raters, and home buyers, ensuring consistent messaging across marketing, sales, dealer communications, and partner communications.

Technical & Industry Expertise:

  • Utilize your expertise in building performance, HVAC, ventilation, and the construction lifecycle to customize marketing strategies for the target market.
  • Stay informed of trends within our industry and marketing landscape.
  • Ensure that Aeroseal’s offerings are strategically positioned in the residential new construction market.

The estimated salary range for this position is $125,000 – $140,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including the successful candidate’s experience, skills, knowledge, and job location.
