To support our commitment to excellence, we invite you to join our team as you take on the following responsibilities:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new associates, including processing background checks and eligibility verifications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive job descriptions for both hourly and salaried positions.
- Manage the paperwork for terminations and conduct exit interviews to gather valuable insights.
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring process for qualified candidates, collaborating with departmental managers to understand the required skills and competencies.
- Provide guidance and support to associates regarding company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the planning and execution of associate engagement activities such as summer picnics and holiday parties, as well as participation in community events.
- Participate in and facilitate the company-wide intern program on an annual basis.
- Process status changes related to promotions and supervisory shifts.
- Contribute to various corporate initiatives and operations projects.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports, while also offering support to other HR team members as necessary.
- Enter job requisitions into the system for replacements and additions as needed.
- Assist in updating company-wide policies, procedures, and forms.
- Maintain associate files and records, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (FLMA, EEO, PWFA, etc.).
- Serve as a resource for associates, escalating employee relations concerns to HR leadership when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the Benefits team during the corporate annual benefits enrollment process.
- Demonstrate proficiency with UKG or comparable HRIS platforms to ensure accurate associate data management.
- Support HR activities at the front desk, including greeting guests and managing incoming calls.
This full-time, salary-exempt position is integral to our corporate Human Resources team and reports directly to the Human Resource Manager.
Required Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting or human resources.
- General knowledge of HR processes and practices.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, accompanied by a commitment to customer service and teamwork.
