Manager of Greenhouse

Under administrative direction, the Manager of Greenhouse oversees operations within the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Properties. This role includes establishing and implementing section policies and procedures, monitoring daily operations, and coordinating various activities. Responsibilities also encompass managing public and media relations, responding to public inquiries and concerns, preparing and administering operating and capital budgets, and generating administrative reports. The manager evaluates the performance of team members and outside contractors while enforcing relevant ordinances and undertaking other job-related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Forestry, or a related field from an accredited four-year institution.
