Job description:

Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience within a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. In this role, you will operate registers and other machinery, stock shelves, maintain store aesthetics, and provide excellent customer service. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to communicate relevant information to your direct leader.
  • Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Process customer purchases and ensure general cleaning duties are performed.
  • Stock shelves and neatly arrange merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers throughout their shopping experience.
  • Offer feedback to management regarding products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and other general concerns.
  • Participate in store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitor inventory for accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

  • Stock shelves and rotate products properly to ensure freshness for customers.
  • Follow merchandising planograms to create excellently displayed products.
  • Organize new inventory and break down empty boxes.
  • Operate machinery and follow all safety procedures diligently.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
  • Stockers must have the ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.
