  • Enhancing the guest experience by maintaining clean and hygienic work areas
  • Ensuring all surfaces and equipment, including floors, ceilings, walls, windows, work tables, and service counters, are clean and sanitized
  • Properly disposing of refuse in designated areas
  • Clearing and resetting tables in dining areas as needed, and transporting service ware to the kitchen for washing
  • Scraping food from soiled dishes, pots, and pans, washing them by hand or loading them into the dishwasher, and returning them to their designated storage areas
  • Cleaning equipment with approved chemicals to meet sanitation standards, which may include the use of heavy machinery
  • Assisting guests with specific requests and communicating any special needs to servers or supervisors
  • Loading and unloading supplies between storage and work areas
  • Stocking, dating, rotating, and checking the temperature of food items
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a retail or food service environment
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding the English language to facilitate communication with guests and follow instructions
  • Experience in handling guest service-related issues
