As a Senior Account Manager in Service Sales for Defense, you will play a pivotal role in driving the next generation of innovation at Rolls-Royce. This position offers an opportunity to refine your skills in a dynamic international setting with a company renowned for its excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage assigned accounts, providing comprehensive account management from lead generation to order fulfillment, focusing on after-sales support and penetration by identifying opportunities, executing proposals, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and dealer representatives.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the growth of Rolls-Royce Solutions America (RRS-A) business within assigned accounts.
- Engage with top-level management customers regularly, representing RRS-A professionally and effectively managing conflicts to minimize escalations.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels to support quality sales and after-sales service for RRS-A customers.
- Work closely with the New Engine Sales team on vehicle projects, providing accurate quotations and strategic sales advice.
- Track quotes throughout the sales process, ensuring seamless tracking in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on trends, conditions, and account statuses affecting future sales opportunities.
- Provide precise data for forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Set ambitious yet attainable short- and long-term goals to increase RRS-A’s market presence in the designated area.
- Oversee new projects from inception to completion, coordinating efficiently with other sales managers in Service Sales, particularly in the Defense sector.
- Address customer inquiries regarding current service offerings and relay feedback to the product development team for service solutions tailored to the Americas region.
- Stay updated on U.S. government regulations and export control requirements, including Buy America, commercial vs. military packaging, and FARS and DFARS guidelines.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to customers, management, and internal teams.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of MTU products, applications, and policies.
- Foster a culture of compliance within your area of responsibility, upholding the principles of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
- Undertake special projects as necessary.
Basic Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business, paired with a minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, parts marketing, or management in after-sales; or 9 years of relevant experience in similar fields.

- Exceptional understanding of customer service principles, including needs assessment, quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record in business development.
