Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Banquet Server to take responsibility for the setup and service of all assigned banquet functions. This is an on-call position based on the event schedule with a competitive hourly wage of $16.
Position Overview:
The Banquet Server plays a crucial role in ensuring that all banquet functions are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification (must meet state regulations).

Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, adapting to the hotel’s event needs.
- Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag during shifts, in line with brand standards.
- Adhere to all Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Fulfill certification requirements relevant to the position, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handling Safety certifications.
- Maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor at all times.
- Execute preparatory tasks and side duties to ensure timely and efficient guest service.
- Familiarize yourself with the Banquet Event Order and the menu for the assigned function.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Access back-of-house areas and manage sensitive information responsibly.
- Interact and occasionally engage with guests and colleagues without supervision.
- Manage access to sensitive hotel areas, including secure locations like the hotel safe and file cabinets.
- Exhibit a high level of trust and responsibility in all tasks.
- Represent the company in a manner that reflects positively on its reputation while exercising sound judgment.
