Position Overview: Care Professional at Home Instead

Home Instead is seeking dedicated and empathetic individuals to join our team as Care Professionals, who play a vital role in our mission to enhance the world’s capacity to care. We offer a range of non-medical services designed to empower aging adults to live comfortably in their homes while addressing the challenges associated with aging with dignity, compassion, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks and assist with meal preparation
  • Remind clients about medication and upcoming appointments
  • Support clients with personal care activities, including grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence needs
  • Offer specialized care for clients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease

Qualifications:

  • Exhibit the ability to treat elderly clients and their property with utmost dignity and respect
  • Have reliable transportation and demonstrate punctuality for assigned shifts
  • Communicate effectively with clients in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner
