AI Pay Analysis: To accurately analyze the hourly rate for the role of “Restaurant Server” in Novi, MI, it’s important to compare it with the average rates in the region and the wider industry standards. As of my last data update in October 2023, server hourly rates in Michigan generally range from $10 to $15, not including tips, which can significantly increase total earnings. Given Novi’s suburban location, slightly competitive rates may be expected due to proximity to larger cities like Detroit. If the offered rate aligns with or exceeds the average within this range and considers local cost of living, it would be considered competitive. Additionally, factors such as restaurant type, service style, and tip potential should also be factored into the overall compensation analysis to determine its competitiveness fully.
