- Address requests for information, mail, and messages courteously and efficiently.
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.
- Respond to inquiries regarding local dining, transportation, and entertainment options.
- Foster effective communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other hotel departments.
- Stay informed about rates, packages, special promotions, and in-house groups; be knowledgeable about closed-out and restricted dates.
- Gather and accurately record all required information during the room reservation process, following proper rate quoting procedures.
- Understand and uphold Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules, as well as general hospitality terminology.
- Assist in emergency procedures as necessary.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.
- Master the functionalities of the Front Desk computer system.
- Ensure the timely logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
- Utilize proper two-way radio etiquette while coordinating with fellow associates.
- Deliver requested guest items such as luggage, newspapers, messages, and amenities as needed.
- Stay updated on property amenities, special events, local attractions, and activities in the surrounding area.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, which may include assisting colleagues in other hotel departments and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Handle sensitive information and access back-of-house areas of the hotel responsibly.
- Exhibit proficiency in cash handling, including preparing and securing cash drops and maintaining bank balances.
