As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary care team dedicated to advancing patient care, quality, and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and varying acuity levels. Enjoy the flexibility of self-scheduling and a competitive compensation structure that includes an 18% night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring goals are realistic and measurable.
  • Provide direct patient care while coordinating and supervising team activities, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Document all aspects of nursing care, maintaining accurate records in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Engage in evidence-based practices and participate in the ongoing education and development of staff, patients, and families.
  • Collaborate with peers to improve national nursing quality indicators and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a temporary/interim RN license. Compact RN licensure is also acceptable.
  • BLS certification is required; additional certifications or continuing education may be necessary based on practice area.
  • A year of relevant clinical experience in an acute care setting is preferred; for registry and travel positions, at least one year of experience is required.
  • Thorough understanding of the experience, training, and education necessary for the position will be evaluated throughout the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in a relevant specialty is also preferred.
  • Additional related education and/or experience is advantageous.
