Key Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience is required, with barista experience strongly preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning about food and beverage practices.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Barista Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide information about specials and new items, while addressing inquiries and processing orders and payments.
  • Prepare a variety of food items, such as sandwiches and baked goods; grind and blend coffee beans; brew coffee and tea; and serve products to customers.
  • Package food and beverages for sale.
  • Promote and sell coffee and tea blends and brewing equipment, emphasizing product differences and educating customers on brewing techniques.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and dining areas by cleaning, restocking, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.

Compensation:
