Position Summary:
The Breakfast Bar Attendant is responsible for upholding the highest quality standards at the Breakfast Bar, ensuring seamless setup, service, maintenance, teardown, and cleanup. This role requires assisting guests in a courteous and tactful manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive and implement shift instructions from the Manager.
  • Maintain quality standards of the Breakfast Bar throughout service hours.
  • Regularly survey the Breakfast Bar and restock items as needed.
  • Manage inventory to ensure a fully operational and high-quality Breakfast Bar.
  • Execute teardown of the Breakfast Bar after service.
  • Dispose of trash in the Breakfast Bar area and great room as required.
  • Wash, dry, and appropriately store all dishes and utensils.
  • Ensure the kitchen area remains neat and orderly at all times.
  • Sweep and mop the lobby area as needed.
  • Clean public restrooms on a daily basis.
  • Vacuum rugs as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness by cleaning glass entrance doors as required.
  • Keep countertops clear and clean.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in cupboards and drawers.
  • Clean the interior of the refrigerator and freezer as necessary.
  • Obtain approval from a supervisor before leaving at the end of the shift.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that lighting is activated and deactivated according to hotel policy.
  • Report to work in a clean, pressed uniform with a nametag daily.
  • Greet each guest warmly with a smile and friendly welcome.
  • Attend staff meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
