Position Summary
- Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks, including dusting and damp mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, cleaning patient room furniture, and disposing of waste, along with other related duties as assigned.
- Safety: Use protective gear as required, ensuring the proper mixing and application of cleaning solutions while adhering to safety protocols. Report any equipment or product malfunctions to your supervisor in a timely manner, while maintaining established safety and quality standards.
- Punctuality: Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality, completing assigned cleaning areas according to schedule and responding promptly to the paging system.
- Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by following directives and maintaining a courteous partnership with supervisors, coworkers, and client staff.
- Resident Experience: Engage positively and tactfully with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- Exhibit a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions while performing routine, repetitive tasks.
- After successful completion of training, utilize leadership skills to efficiently fulfill responsibilities independently and safely.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential; attendance must adhere to scheduled commitments.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as mandated by state, local, and customer requirements.
- Capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds, and standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Exposure to food and cleaning products is required.
- Residents of the service area are preferred.
