Position Overview:
As a Sales Solutions Generalist, you will be instrumental in delivering an exceptional customer experience by assisting guests in selecting and purchasing animals, supplies, and services. You will engage with pet owners to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions for both their current and future requirements, as well as facilitate connections with specialists when necessary. Your responsibilities will also include managing transactions at the cash register, ensuring that merchandise is properly stocked and priced, and contributing to a superior visitor experience in our Pet Care Center. Success in this role will stem from a genuine passion for the welfare, health, and proper treatment of animals, alongside being a supportive team member within the entire Pet Care Center.

Basic Qualifications:
The ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment is essential. In addition to presenting a professional appearance and demeanor, candidates must demonstrate a sincere interest in animal care. Preferred Qualifications:

Work Environment:
Most duties are performed indoors; however, tasks such as merchandise receiving, carry-outs, or stock balancing may require brief outdoor activity. The position necessitates bending, kneeling, moving merchandise, and standing for extended periods. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and maneuver 2000 lbs with material handling equipment. Improper use of safety equipment and/or neglecting correct lifting practices may pose risks of injury to customers, pets, and Pet Care Center staff. Adherence to all safety precautions and procedures is required. Availability for shifts during evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight or holiday work is necessary.
