Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver 3rd Shift
Company: Homestead
Location: Macomb, MI
Pay: $16.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16.50 for a “Caregiver 3rd Shift” position in Macomb, MI, appears to be on the lower end of the compensation spectrum for similar roles in the area. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for caregivers in Michigan typically ranges from $12 to $20, depending on experience, qualifications, and specific responsibilities; however, rates can be higher in more populated areas or for specialized caregiving roles. Given that the position is for the 3rd shift, which often requires additional incentives to attract workers due to the less desirable hours, $16.50 may not be competitive enough to draw qualified candidates in the current job market. Thus, it may be beneficial for employers to consider increasing this rate to align better with industry standards and attract suitable applicants.
