As the initial point of contact in our stores, Receptionists play a crucial role in fostering a welcoming environment for our customers. They are responsible for greeting visitors with warmth and professionalism, maintaining organized patient records, and ensuring that appointment schedules operate seamlessly. This position entails delivering prompt and courteous service to customers both on the phone and in-person.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of customers throughout the store.
  • Manage incoming phone calls by answering, screening, and directing them in compliance with National Vision protocols.
  • Process and comprehend managed care plans, gathering necessary documentation from insurance companies as required.
  • Offer basic yet accurate information to customers.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
  • Organize and file patient records daily, proactively pulling files for upcoming appointments.
  • Monitor order statuses, promptly notifying customers regarding their orders or any potential delays.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area, stocked with all essential materials.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, while overseeing inventory levels of office supplies.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.

Qualifications:
