Job Summary:
A Housekeeper is primarily focused on ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel are maintained in a clean and aesthetically pleasing manner. This role involves daily service of guest rooms following established hotel procedures, including stocking the cart with necessary supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities—all in accordance with company standards and safety/security protocols. Additionally, the Housekeeper will conduct deep cleaning activities within guest rooms in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks as necessary.

- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in the hospitality industry or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with guests and team members.
- Clear and precise conveyance of information and ideas.
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Capable of performing well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, adhering to a schedule that may vary based on hotel needs.
- Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (per brand standards).
- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
- Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning products, and linens.
- Remove all trash and soiled linen from guest rooms.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- Disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms, if necessary, to facilitate deep cleaning.
- Execute deep cleaning tasks, which may include changing the AC filter, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and molding, addressing scratched furniture, or rehanging closed sliding doors.
