Job description:
Perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department while delivering exceptional customer service. Uphold the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities:

– Attend to customers promptly and courteously, providing high-quality food products.
– Maintain a prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional demeanor in all interactions.
– Communicate effectively with both customers and associates.
– Ensure a clean, neat, and welcoming environment for customers.
– Unload and store merchandise; prepare and display food items in accordance with company standards, recipes, and policies.
– Conduct necessary temperature monitoring.
– Monitor product quality to ensure freshness and safety at all times.
– Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers organized and clean.
– Maintain clean, safe, and clutter-free floors.
– Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils following company and Health Department guidelines.
– Ensure proper signage, product rotation, and adherence to freshness, quantity, quality, and space allocation standards.
– Maintain equipment and facilities safely and appropriately according to company policies.
– Comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable State and Federal laws.
– Operate cash register responsibly, adhering to company procedures as applicable.
– Collaborate effectively in a high-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
– Manage conflicts in a reasonable, non-confrontational, and cooperative manner.
– Act with honesty and integrity concerning customer and business information.
– Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business matters.
